Hey y’all! My name is Liz, and I’m a third year MD/PhD student. I’m currently doing my PhD in the Parikh Lab (YSPH) work on seasonal malaria chemoprevention and its implications for malaria transmissibility.
I was born in Guangzhou, China and grew up in Houston, Texas. I graduated from Yale College with a BS in MB&B (Davenport 2016), and since then, I’ve done global health and infectious disease research in India, NIH/NIAID, NIH/NCI, and completed a MSc in Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to chat about global health, the process of applying to grad/med school, baking/crocheting, or if you’d just to chat. I love getting to know people and hearing their stories :) I hope to meet y’all soon!
